Events at Carpedia are considered a very important part of the unique culture of our company. They give everyone an opportunity to get to know one another and they give the company an opportunity to show its appreciation for everyone’s hard work and dedication. They are also intended to thank spouses and partners for their support. There are two major company-wide events held each year at Carpedia. Each event is kicked off with a company wide meeting.
Typically held in January, the Winter Event at Carpedia generally includes a dinner and musical entertainment. Venues vary each year.
Throughout the year we look for opportunities to get together outside of work.
Carpe-PM (def’n): an informal gathering of Carpedians who want an excuse to socialize with others in the company. Carpe-PM was introduced as a concept to enable employees, particularly those who are new to the firm, to socialize with one another in an informal, yet organized gathering. Carpe-PM is held throughout the year at various locations.
In addition to company-wide events, there is also a major performance recognition event called The Results Council which is open to all employees who have been with the company for over one year.
The Results Council is a special 3 or 4 day trip that recognizes the top performers in the company. The top Director, Manager, and Consultant (and a few other sales-based awards) earn a seat on the council. The Results Council locations vary every year and have included New Orleans, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, and Nassau.
