Amber Sherman, Vice President

Amber Sherman, Vice President at Carpedia Hospitality, partners with some of the world’s largest hotel ownership groups and brands to improve operational performance to ultimately unlock asset value.  Her technical and data-driven approach is balanced with a strong ability to tactically support all stakeholders within an organization through change.


With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Amber’s clients benefit from her deep knowledge of and passion for the sector. She manages the relationship with some of Carpedia Hospitality’s largest and longest-standing clients and is also paramount to developing new business. Through her career, Amber has cultivated expertise in designing and executing large, complex, and portfolio-wide engagements. She also has a growing number of clients in both the private and public sectors of the residential industry.  Amber’s work in both industries has also led to specific expertise operating within unionized environments.


Prior to Carpedia, Amber worked for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Labor Management and Quality. She is based in New York, NY and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University and is currently Co-Chair of the Hotel School’s Council of Young Alumni.
