The client operates multiple manufacturing facilities acquired over the past three decades. With each acquisition, integration efforts focused on operations and ERP alignment, while reporting was left fragmented across sites. The result was a patchwork of data that obscured performance trends, slowing the strategic decision-making process. So, although systems were connected, insights were not.
The client engaged Carpedia to develop a suite of reports and dashboards in Power BI to organize data, visualize results, and assess performance across the entire business. The major challenge with this was cleaning and organizing the data to build a dynamic data model that could be used as a single source of truth for all the necessary visuals. Therefore, there was an immediate need to clean up the internal data sources and reporting process. This required a thorough analysis of each data source.
